Delete your account

Delete your Buyments account and your data from here, without needing to sign in to the app.

What gets deleted

Your name, phone number, email address and sign-in credentials.
Your sessions and registered devices — you are signed out everywhere.
Identity verification documents attached to your account.

What is kept

Businesses keep records of payments that have already been made, and the invoices attached to them. That is an accounting and legal requirement, and it cannot be removed along with the account.

Deleting cannot be undone.

Phone number or email address

We send a one-time code over WhatsApp to the number on the account. If the account has no phone number, the code goes to its email address instead.

You can also delete your account inside the app: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account.
